मागासवर्गीय मुलांचे शासकीय वसतिगृह आशीर्वादनगर नागपूर हे शासन निर्णय१७ जून २००३ ला मंजूर झालेले असून ते दिनांक १ ऑगस्ट १९७९ मध्ये कार्यान्वित झाले सदर वसतिगृहात फक्त ११ व अभियांत्रिकी पदविका अभ्यासक्रमाच्या विद्यार्थ्यांनाच प्रवेश देण्यांत येतो या वसतिगृहाच्या[प्रवेशा करिता कमीत कमी ५५% ची अट आहे .

तसेच वसतिगृहाची मान्य संख्या ७५ विद्यार्थ्यांची असून ३५ शालेय विध्यार्थी ११,१२, व पदविका अभ्यासक्रमाचे असून १०% स्पर्धा परीक्षा उदा GATE/GMAT/GRE etc अभ्यासक्रमाच्या विध्यार्थ्यांना प्रवेश देण्यात येतो (पदवी अभ्याक्रमाच्या पूर्व परीक्षेकरिता राखीव आहेत )
